Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, kind words and prayers for Doug Blasdell, his family and friends. So many people have been touched and inspired by this wonderful man and I am honored and blessed to have known him. Doug was an angel ... and I'm sure he still is. Doug never failed to greet people with a big hug or a kiss. It makes me happy to think that his kindness (and that beautiful smile of his!) will be remembered by so many. I miss and love you, Doug!

Jackie's trip home was so touching. I really felt for Jackie because I have such a great relationship with my mother and it makes me cry to see Jackie go through such hurdles to get closer to her mom. But I'm so glad that her mother got to see how people respect and admire Jackie and the work she does. It was great to see the look of pride on Jackie's mom's face. It's nice to see my friend Jackie making strides in her personal relationships.
