Don't Crap Where You Sleep
Lisa warns her coworkers about dating Jackie!
I'm excited because I'm not in this episode, and maybe many of you are too! Ha! Jackie has been busy teaching me the ropes of her business as well as preparing things while she is away on the cruise ship. It's a great honor to know that "JAX" is confident in my ability to run things exactly how she likes it. She runs a "tight" ship and as much as we laugh, joke, and poke fun at each other, I know that this is serious business. Finally, the 12-hour days for the past two months will be put to the test ... will I sink or swim??? Aaaahhh ... the pressure!
Life is good at the gym -- I can say it is the first time in my life that I actually look forward to coming into work. The girls find out about the lesbian cruise. I'm sure that they are excited and slightly nervous at the same time. They are so in for it! OK -- so there is a mysterious little bag of "I want Jackie" pixie dust that floats around the gym and lands on a trainer from time to time. I'm not sure what it is, but these girls are drawn to her like bees to honey. I always get the knock on my office door or a phone call from the recipient of the magical pixie dust, wondering what to do about the attraction to Jackie. How the hell should I know? The assumption is that I'm the gatekeeper into the magical land of Jackie So I honestly tell them: "Don't crap where you sleep" (aka, don't kiss or sleep with the boss.) This advice falls upon deaf ears and "POOF" out of nowhere they find themselves in a boatload of drama and trouble. So yes -- there is drama at the gym and everyone is a willing participant. Let's be real -- please! A quote comes to mind from Sir Walter Scott that sums it all up "Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive."
Everyone is leaving and it's rather bittersweet. I get the chance to hang out with the SkyLabbers. Man, they all have mind-blowing stories to tell. Deep down I'm relating to each and every one of them. At this point of filming, Jackie is struggling with my "Sugar Addiction" and has literally had to lead me out of my favorite cupcake store in West Hollywood ... over the phone. WOW -- I'm realizing that I too fight similar battles as the SkyLab group. I'm enjoying getting to know them whether its walking side by side on the treadmill or taking a "SUNFARE" break in my office. I will be honest, I have made money as a realtor and selling high-end luxury vehicles, but NOTHING compares to helping one person realize their dreams and goals. I'm stocking up on plenty of Kleenex because I see lots of tears in the future, tears of joy, victory, and setback as they embark upon their journeys. I'm excited to learn all about the fun on the cruise. I miss my lil' monsters - Rebecca's sunshine and giggles and Erika. I'm hoping there is a Gucci or Prada store on board. If not, a good spa. Ha!
The boys in a Mud Run? It sounds sexy and hilarious at the same time. Will Greg P take his shirt off? I'm sure! And I would be a liar if I said that I wouldn't get excited. Muscles and mud -- tasty combination! My brother from another mother Gregg B will probably break out some amazing tunes while running! His vocals are simply amazing. The sparks were flying at the cruise boot camp! Oh my, if that is any indication of what's upcoming on that ship, things are going to heat up! Welcome aboard mates, batten down the hatches, secure the lifeboats, and strap on your life vest because this cruise will either be The Love Boat or Titanic, so stay tuned ...
P.S. Zen wanted me to give you all a shout-out and say, "Hi and thanks for the love and support." She is doing fabulously and has many different projects she is working on in addition to her busy training schedule. xxoo
