Jim Sced is an entrepreneur and adventurer from Vancouver, British Columbia with a lifelong connection to Whistler. As a business maven and outdoor enthusiast, Jim was drawn to Gibbons Whistler’s corporate model and reputation. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Jim developed an affinity for water and mountain sports alike, including surfing, free diving, wind sports, and snowboarding. When Jim is not outside enjoying nature, he can be found working on his own business endeavors. He founded, ran, and sold one business and is currently launching a new company in the tech space. Jim has a bachelor's degree in economics, a private pilot’s license, a 15 gross tonnage marine operations certificate, and certifications in Accelerated Free Fall skydiving and advanced scuba diving. Jim’s other passions include travel, great food, and creating his own art.
