Gary King Says He’s “Trying” to Pursue Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Daisy Kelliher

During WWHL at BravoCon 2022, Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s first mate shared whether he would date the chief stew.

When first mate Gary King and chief stew Daisy Kelliher both joined the cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht for Season 2, there was tension between the two about how to work well together while aboard Parsifal III.

During Season 3, Daisy and Gary managed to get on the same page at work, and they even developed a strong friendship — though it largely consisted of bickering. Following a surprising post-charter hot tub kiss on the show, fans (and Gary and Daisy’s fellow crewmates!) began to wonder if something more was going on between them.

Though the two have since insisted they are just friends, Gary got fans talking once again when he appeared alongside Daisy on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which aired on October 17 and was taped at BravoCon 2022.

During the WWHL After Show, Andy wondered if Gary and Daisy could be the next great friends-to-lovers pair à la Summer House’s Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard

Are Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke Dating?

In the video above, when Andy asks if Gary would “take [Daisy] out after the show,” the yachtie has a cheeky response for the host.

“I’m trying, Andy! I’m trying!” Gary exclaims.

Gary may think he’s “trying” to pursue the chief stew, but she begs to differ. “He is absolutely not trying,” Daisy responds.

Even when they are off the boat, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast members still can’t agree on much.
