The Below Deck Reunion Shed Light on a New Revelation About James Hough's Eyebrows
It turns out the deckhand's perfect eyebrows require a surprising amount of grooming.
The crew members of My Seanna got together to discuss Below Deck Season 8 with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen, in a virtual reunion that aired on February 22. It gave the group a chance to dive into some of the most pressing issues they faced throughout the season—such as deckhand James Hough’s eyebrows.
During the reunion, Andy pressed James for some more information about his grooming habits: “James, you really pluck your eyebrows to be held, don’t you?”
“Yeah!” James admitted. “And when I’m not on the show, I did a horrendous job. I’ve actually had to go to someone to get them sorted. They were an absolute mess, yeah.”
Though James claims to have gone through a rough patch with his brows, Ashling Lorger served up the highest of compliments. “Can I just say, they look on point?” she added.
The eyebrow chatter didn’t stop there, though. Izzy Wouters chimed in to let the rest of the crew know that James’ brow routine goes far beyond plucking.
“He would fill them in in the morning,” she shared. “He would steal some of my eyeshadow and he would fill them in just to make sure they were extra perfect.”
“Why do we always say it like I’m the only one who does their eyebrows? Many men do!” James said. Andy replied, “Captain Lee, Eddie and I don’t,” to which James had a solid quip: “Maybe you need to.”
