The View from Kate Chastain’s Waterfront Self-Quarantine Is Insanely Gorgeous
The Below Deck chief stew is soaking in the gorgeous Florida landscape as she self-quarantines down south.
Kate Chastain is giving us major self-quarantine envy. While the rest of hunker down in our regular ol’ homes with regular ol’ backyards, Kate is practicing social distancing in the totally gorgeous, palm tree-laden locale of Florida. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic exploded in New York City, the Below Deck chief stew hopped in her car and headed south to a rental home. “18 hour road trip from NYC to Florida thank you @Andy and @RadioAndySXM hosts for broadcasting light yet informative programming during #coronavirus,” she tweeted last month.
And, um, we totally get why Kate left Manhattan — not only does her abode come with warmer weather, but it’s also a waterfront home with a gorgeous yard overlooking the beach, a bay, and a stunning bridge. And Kate is taking full advantage of the property, spending lots of time with her dog Halo out on the lawn, and even soaking up some early-morning sunrises.
“No filter. This waking up early thing is actually quite nice… live on @radioandysxm at 9:00 am,” Kate captioned a gorgeous video on her Instagram Stories, sharing the orange, pink and purple sky as the sun rose above the water. Simply gorgeous, Kate!
