Chef Ben Robinson Teams up with Seth Rogen to Promote Foods That Boost Brain Health
The Below Deck chef and Seth Rogen are spreading awareness about Alzheimer's disease prevention, which can include eating plenty of Omega 3s.
Now that yachting season is over, Below Deck chef Ben Robinson is back on dry land. But his newest project sees him serving up plenty of seafood — and for a very good cause.
In an October 24 Instagram post, Ben announced a partnership we didn't see coming. The culinary pro has teamed up with actor Seth Rogen to spread awareness about Alzheimer's disease prevention, which can include filling your diet with brain-healthy foods.
To caption an image of himself sidled up to Rogen at an event, Ben wrote, "About last night...I had the honor and privilege of doing a demonstration of some [brain health] food at [Seth Rogen] and [Dan Miller’s] awareness and fundraising event for [Hilarity for Charity.] We talked about foods rich in brain-boosting Omega3’s; I demo’d a salmon sashimi with avocado purée, flaxseed chip, and salmon roe."
The night also included a stress-reducing guided meditation, which Rogen helped lead, and an acoustic performance from Boyz II Men. "Awesome night, wonderful people, all raising awareness that [Alzheimer's] prevention starts when you’re young and you need to take care of your body AND your brain in your 20s, 30s, and 40s," Ben wrote.
