A Food Truck Dance Party? Yes, Please

A Food Truck Dance Party? Yes, Please

This crazy hybrid of a dance party and a food truck has us very intrigued

Hitting up a food truck for a delicious snack or meal can be a fun experience—casual, cheap, spontaneously social. But is it as awesome as a dance party? Not quite. Then again, if this new Kickstarter campaign for the "Electric Dance Munchies Truck" succeeds, we won't have to choose between stuffing our faces and dancing till dawn.

As hopeful co-founder Phil Fazioli (aka DJ Fazi Snaxxx) puts it on EDM's Kickstarter page: "We'll be providing food to our customers while they listen and dance to the latest and hottest electronic dance music on state-of-the-art speakers that will be right outside of the truck... The 'electric' concept will be further utilized in the future in that our food truck will operate on solar panels located on the roof...how cool is that!?"

We're not sure, but we're definitely intrigued. They're planning to sell not just food but also rave gear, and eventually doggie snacks for pets that venture by. As for the menu, here's what's planned for now: hot panini sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, bagels and coffee. Pretty humdrum, but certainly helpful for carbo-loading and juicing before busting a move. To get a taste of what's in store (sonically, anyway), check out the very weird video at the top of their Kickstarter page.

The creators hope to raise $11,000 by March 4. If you donate to their Kickstarter you'll get anything from your name engraved ("non-professionally") inside the truck ($5 donation), to "rave-approved" LED gloves ($50), to a free catered party in any city you want—but that's only if you give $2500.
