Alec Baldwin’s new memoir, “Nevertheless,” is full of revelations - and this one is a shocker.
In one explosive confession, the actor says that while filming the R-rated movie, Mini's First Time, in 2006, he was unaware that actress Nikki Reed was only 16-years-old when they filmed sex scenes.
But one producer on the flick, Dana Brunetti, 43, says the 59-year-old actor (who was 47 at the time) knew—and just didn’t care.
“My first indie film was Mini's starring @AlecBaldwin who knew @NikkiReed_I_Am was 16 (not 17) and he didn't mind,” the producer tweeted in one of an 11-part rant.
Alec claims in the book he “flipped out” on producers when he learned Nikki’s real age.
Dana’s twitter rant went on to say, “In fact @NikkiReed_I_Am was 1 of 4 actresses Alec Baldwin had approved and her being the only 1 of those 4 repped by HIS own agency CAA.”
Another said: “So to summarize, @AlecBaldwin knew NikkiReed_I_Am was 16, didn't find out AFTER filming, and did not yell at us.”
The producer also took a dig at Alec’s Donald Trump impersonation, saying it had gone on for too long and added that the actor was doing a bit of 'method acting' when writing his new book.
“If @AlecBaldwin had simply said in his book he didn't know @NikkiReed_I_Am's age, I would let it go. However to say that when he found out after filming he yelled at the producers (I being 1 on the film) makes it out to seem we did wrong,” he also wrote.
Mini's First Time is an indie film featured Alec as a married man who has a torrid affair with his step-daughter, played by Nikki.
