After Show: George Clooney Is Plain Sexy

As a human rights lawyer and a new mom to twins, Amal Clooney doesn't have much time to hit the town. But, even the most overbooked ladies can't resist the lure of Gianni Versace. And on Thursday night, the legal powerhouse dressed in her shimmering best to hit an event that honored the gone-but-never-forgotten designer.

Held in Los Angeles, the event celebrated an archive of 500 vintage Versace pieces, which will be sold at WiIliams Vintage and on Farfetch. Fittingly, Clooney selected a vintage piece for the occasion, and wore a sparkling gold chainmail dress from Versace's 1994 collection.

Though she attended the event stag, Clooney stopped to chat with a few famous fashion fans — including fashion mogul Rachel Zoe.

This isn't the first time Clooney has stunned in Versace, of course. For her appearance at the Venice Film Festival this year — which marked her red-carpet debut after the birth of her twins — the mom chose a floaty lilac gown by Atelier Versace to pose with husband George Clooney.

And, she looked like a human ray in sunshine it in a yellow gown from the Italian fashion house at 2016's Cannes Film Festival.

We love a good designer-and-muse love story, don't you?
