After revealing to her son Anderson Cooper that she once had a lesbian fling, Gloria Vanderbilt is spilling more about her juicy sex life.
The designer/author/socialite appeared alongside Anderson on Watch What Happens Live Thursday, where host Andy Cohen peppered her with questions about some famous past lovers of hers—and she talked.
On Frank Sinatra, she said “He was a good friend and an absolutely extraordinary person in my life.”
When Andy asked where Marlon Brando scored on a scale of one to ten in romance, she replied, “[He was totally not what you’d think. I fell in love with him in On the Waterfront and happened to meet him the next day…”
To which Anderson interjected, “It didn’t just happen to you, you made a point of it.”
“Well my friend Carol Matthau was living in Los Angeles and was a friend of his and seeing him all the time, and I called her and said ‘Oh I’m in love with Marlon Brando,’ and she said I have dinner with him every night, come on out. So I hotfooted it on a plane and I went out immediately and I had dinner with him that night, but he was not at all the way I expected,” Gloria said.
On notorious playboy Howard Hughes, she said he gave her her first orgasm.
“Oy oy oy,” Anderson said with his hands over his ears.
“That is true. [Leonardo] DiCaprio, forget it, that was in no way how Howard Hughes was….I would have [married him] in a minute. But I was 17 and things were terribly mixed up and complicated and I made a big mistake.”
On actor Errol Flynn, Gloria calls him “super romantic,” and director Orson Welles “absolutely fascinating.”
“And one of the funniest men, you could be just roaring with laughter all the time, you know,” she said.
