Anthony Weiner's Prison Menu Is Good for an Extremely Low-Brow Giggle

Anthony Weiner's Prison Menu Is Good for an Extremely Low-Brow Giggle

Friday's dinner is... awkward.

Anthony Weiner, who was given more chances than most public figures ever get to redeem himself, failed to do it. And so he begins his 21-month stint in jail today for sexting with a minor.

Because of his unfortunate name, coupled with his unfortunate crimes, he has long been the butt of many juvenile jokes. But what the heck, here's one more.

TMZ has obtained the menu for the facility that will house Weiner, Federal Medical Center in Devens, Massachusetts. If you're curious about what happens when you're jailed for sexting with a minor, one thing that happens is you get to choose oatmeal, coffee cake, or wheat toast with jelly for breakfast on Mondays. And for lunch, prisoners get cheese pizza, spaghetti, and a garden salad. The dinner menu today includes chicken fried rice, black beans, and carrots.

Later in the week, le menu includes a chicken patty sandwich for Tuesday's lunch, and burger and fries (or baked potato) on Wednesday. But the pièce de résistance comes on Friday, when Weiner's dinner in prison will include (wait for it): two hot dogs. Hot dogs!!!

Is that really funny, if you're not still in junior high school? Maybe not. But neither is it funny when a married man uses his own child as a sexting prop.

Weiner's sentencing comes at the same time as a number of high-profile members of the entertainment industry have come under fire with sexual harassment allegations, including Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey.
