This Bachelor Couple Designed a Line of Furniture...And It's Pretty Cute
Because after the final rose ceremony comes a furniture line, natch.
I’ve got an admission to make: I’m a Bachelor-holic. I’m embarrassingly, but truly, legitimately a member of Bachelor Nation. And while I don’t publicize this fact often, you better believe when there’s a live season airing, I’m glued to my couch on Monday nights, soaking up every second of drama, faux-romance and awkward two-on-one dates. And post-show? Well, my fandom wages on as I follow successful and tragically unsuccessful couples navigate relationships IRL—by way of news, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and more. The show, for me at least, does not end after the final rose ceremony.
So clearly my interest was piqued when I heard that Catherine and Sean Lowe—ya, know, the couple that found true love on Season 17 of The Bachelor—were designing a line of kid-friendly, stylish furniture for retailer Wayfair. Probably the most under-the-radar of successful Bachelor couples, the Lowes went on to wed (on TV, natch) after their show wrapped, and today they have an adorable baby. See guys, reality TV romance is real!!
Back to the furniture: The Lowe’s designed seven pieces with families in mind—meaning they’re comfortable and durable, but sleek and stylish, too. Or, as Catherine calls the line, ““sophisti-comfortable,” while Sean refers to it as “slo-zy” (sleek and cozy)! Yes, really, they are that adorable. And the furniture is pretty great, too. Classic pieces that are toddler-friendly and (relatively) easy on the wallet? I'm in...and I think you will be, too.
