As if we needed more proof that Barack Obama knows how to do a post-POTUS vacation right.
After heading to Palm Springs after leaving the White House, the Obamas headed to billionaire Richard Branson's Necker island... and then island hopped for weeks. They headed to the South Pacific, where they spent a full month in the uber-exclusive resort known as the Brando, on the French Polynesian island of Tetiaroa, where the former president worked on his memoirs.
With so many incredible journeys already in the bag since the presidency, where have the Obamas headed for their latest epic vacation adventure?
Well, 44 has taken his family — Michelle, Malia, and Sasha all in tow — on a 10-day vacation in Bali. While Bali is a bucket-list vacation destination for many, it's also a homecoming for the former president, who lived in the country as a child.
Notably, the family spent some quality time rafting on the Ayung river. (Do your July 4th holiday weekend barbecue plans sound boring yet?)
Prior to their rafting adventure, they strolled casually dressed through a rice terrace in Jatiluwih, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
