Bravo's newest digital series, Furry, Fierce, and Fabulous stars the king of doggie couture Roberto Negrin as he works with everyday dogs to create runway-ready fashions inspired by their unique adoption stories.

When you were growing up, what did you dream of being? A veterinarian? A rollerskating instructor? A fairy by day and a keytarist by night? In our childhood fantasies, we can be anything we want…even a dog couture fashion designer.

But as it turns out, renowned dog couture fashion designer Roberto Negrin never had aspirations to be a renowned dog couture fashion designer. In fact, he had actually been going to school to become an x-ray technician. But when he decided to enter his rescue poodle Hec-lin into a competition, that all went out the window.

“We were participating in a beauty pageant for dogs and the things I found at regular pet stores didn’t fit her personality,” Roberto told Unleashed. “So I asked my mom if she could help me learn how to sew and then it became an obsession. People would stop us while we were out and ask me to make outfits for their dogs. I never thought it would become something so exceptional.” You can hear more about Roberto’s rise to canine fame in the video above.
