They’re still not divorced—and there’s still a lot of love there.
Ben Affleck gushed about Jennifer Garner’s mothering skills during a conversation with The New York Times “TimesTalks.”
“She's the greatest mom in the world," Ben said.
And despite his Oscar wins and his illustrious career, the writer/actor/director says his children, Samuel, four, daughter Violet, 11, and Seraphina, seven, are his biggest accomplishment.
“In my career or otherwise, it is the birth of my children,” he said. “The entrance of my children into the world. It's a joy to hang out with them, I think the meaning of life is to make good people.”
Ben and Jen announced plans to divorce back 2015 after ten years of marriage, but still haven’t officially pulled the trigger. The two have been spotted running errands, getting coffee and going to church together since their separation, and Ben lives in the family’s guest house as they co-parent peacefully.
Ben has gushed about Jen as a mom before, calling her a “superhero” who he’s lucky to have as his children’s mother.
Back in March Jen discussed her divorce in Vanity Fair, even discussing Ben's alleged cheating with the nanny.
The actor was fine with it, saying at the time, "She felt like she wanted to discuss it and get it out there and get it over with, so she could say, ‘Look, I already talked about it — I don’t want to do it again.' It’s fine. She’s allowed to talk about it.”
