When Sir John, makeup artist to the stars (and possible namesake for Beyoncé's baby), calls out a beauty trend, it must be official. Especially when he enlists supermodel-turned-actress Joan Smalls to make his point.
Sir John just posted an Instagram showing off eyeliner on Joan in a gorgeous shade of bright blue. It's not just any shade of blue. It's "denim liner," according to Sir John.
Pretty! Joan's bold eyeliner is set off with fluttery lashes and pale pink matte lipstick. This isn't the first time Sir John made denim eyeliner happen though, E! points out.
He's leading the denim eyeliner charge, clearly. This fits right into the blue eyliner craze, which has been going strong all summer, and blue colored mascara is selling out too. We're going to need Beyoncé in jean-inspired makeup to really get this trend off the ground — can you make that happen, Sir John?
