Employees at a bus terminal in Curitiba, Brazil have gone above and beyond for three stray dogs that had been wandering outside the facility. They brought them inside, gave them warm fluffy beds—repurposed from old bus tires!—plus food, water, love, and support.
The dogs—known as Max, Pitoco, and Zoinho—were celebrated on Facebook by politician Fabiane Rosa, a self-declared animal advocate (her profile picture even features her with a dog). Her post has since gone viral, with over 13K reactions.
“I do not tire of praising the Neusa dos Santos and other volunteers who provide these angels with a warm bed in the cold, food every day, fresh water, security,” she posted on Facebook. “Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be.”
“Of course it is not the ideal, but at least there are those who look for them and for them,” Rosa continued. “You may be the only hope of these silent suffering angels.”
