The tragic loss of Carrie Fisher at the tail end of 2016 had the whole world mourning the loss of the beloved Princess Leia actress, author, comedian and all-around brilliant talent. People Magazine revealed that her final meal was with Salman Rushdie, the internationally famous author, and Sharon Horgan, a London-based producer, actress and co-star of the TV series Catastrophe, in which Fisher also appeared.
Carrie's endless wit and charm was clearly the main course at the dinner, and the Star Wars actress even brought her own dessert: a pair of chocolate boobs as a gift for Rushdie.
Horgan described the last meal in an essay for The Guardian. “So we met and chatted and laughed and Gary (her dog) farted while Carrie handed out presents (me, an antique cocktail stick holder; Salman, a pair of chocolate tits),” she shared. “When he popped to the loo, Carrie said: ‘See? Isn’t he fun? Do you like him?’ Of course I did. But what I liked more was that she cared enough to make sure I was having fun.”
