9 Celebrities Who Own Booze Brands
Make room for these starry bottles from the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Jay-Z, and more.

Chances are you've already had a cocktail made with Ciroc Vodka, backed by Sean Combs, and you've tried Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel’s Skinnygirl line. But liquor stores are now awash in plenty of other celebrity-owned liquors, from George Clooney's Casamigos Tequila to Ryan Reynold's Aviation Gin. Read on, and stock up.
Ryan Reynolds
In a Twitter announcement, Ryan Reynolds told the world he's "the proud owner" of a gin label dubbed Aviation Gin. Reynolds aquired the spirit company as a genuine fan. "Aviation is in a completely different league and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of the company," he said. Photo: Aviation American Gin
Jay-Z
Rapper Jay-Z owns D'ussé cognac and Ace of Spades Champagne. Beyoncé's beau happily racked up an $110,000 bar tab during a February 2018 outing in NYC, mostly buying everyone in the room a personal $1,200 bottle of his proprietary booze.
Drake
Grammy-Award winning recording artist Drake is making news again, this time with reports of his upcoming whiskey label, Virginia Black Whiskey, set to hit shelves in April. For super-fans who can't wait to hear more, Drake’s Instagram account, Champagnepapi, has regular updates about the highly anticipated launch. Photo: Instagram/@champagnepapi
George Clooney
Doesn't George Clooney just look like he was born to hawk high-end liquor? The actor co-owns Casamigos Tequila with longtime friends Rande Gerber, the nightlife entrepreneur and husband of Cindy Crawford, and real estate tycoon Mike Meldman. The small-batch tequila, originally created by the trio as a private label to serve at home, is big on flavor thanks to its main ingredient, Blue Weber agave, grown in Jalisco, Mexico.
Cee Lo Green
Cee Lo has teamed up with Ty Ku Sake & Spirits to present his premium, brewed-in-Japan sake, Ty Ku, flavored with fruit, tea and botanicals. As part-owner and spokeperson for the brand, Green extends his signature touch to the packaging too: The green bottle glows in the dark, ensuring you'll never have a hard time refilling your glass in the club. Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake is making his own contribution to the celeb-owned liquor trend with his Sauza 901, a collaboration with Casa Sauza. The tequila is triple-distilled for a super-smooth sip, so owning a few bottles of this booze is always justified. Photo: Sauza 901/Facebook.
David Beckham
Bend it like David Beckham with a glass of Haig Club Scotch. The dapper former pro soccer player is the face behind the brand, along with his partners at the British liquor company Diageo. Although the bottle looks like it should hold cologne, instead it's filled with a single-grain Scotch made at Scotland's oldest grain-whiskey distillery, the House of Haig's Cameronbridge. Billy Gibbons
While the Houston-based liquor company Pura Vida has several celebrity investors, bearded rocker Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top is the most visible. Tequila connoisseurs have shown such an appreciation for Pura Vida Tequila that the company is now working on adding a Polish vodka, Mexican Whiskey, Cuban rum and Dutch gin to the mix.
50 Cent
50 Cent can add liquor entrepreneur to his resume, now that he's partnering with Holland-produced Effen Vodka. Although the name may sound like a nod to a certain word we're not going to repeat here, it actually means “smooth” in Dutch. But one smooth, tasty swig will have you swearing your loyalty.
