Céline Dion may get a tattoo in honor of her late husband, René Angélil, who passed away in January following a battle with throat cancer.
The singer, 48, has been heartbroken since his passing at 73, and says she wants a way to always remember him.
“Since my husband passed away, they can make a tattoo [of] his heartbeat, so I might have his heartbeat on my body for the rest of my life,” she tells Vogue. “I’ve seen so many people that they have tattoos when they're young, and then they get older and it changes... It's goin' down. It's gravity baby.”
Céline and René share three children together, Charles, 15, and twins Nelson and Eddy, age five.
The couple met in 1980, when Céline was 12 and René, then 38, discovered her. They married in 1994.
She also talked about her many unusual outfits over the years, saying she doesn’t care about being comfortable—and would rather look fabulous.
“I don't care about comfort,' she said. 'The day you start thinking about comfort, you're getting old,” she said.
Canada native Céline was also asked to pick her favorite Canadian—Justin Beiber or Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She reluctantly chose Justin.
