We all know President Trump has an affinity for fast food (along with well-done steaks covered in ketchup). And we also know that being President of the United States is kind of a tough job. We imagine you'd work up quite a thirst, signing executive orders, meeting with heads of state, and giving out numerous interviews. So it's perhaps no surprise that there's a super-special wooden box on Trump's desk in the Oval Office containing a super-special red button that he uses to order…glasses of Coca-Cola.
The Associated Press first noticed this phenomenon during an interview with the President, noting: "With the push of a red button placed on the Resolute Desk that presidents have used for decades, a White House butler soon arrived with a Coke for the president."
The Independent also pointed out that Trump has been spotted with a glass of cola on his desk in the White House before.
Here's the question, though—is it real Coke, or is it Diet? Trump has had a somewhat tumultuous relationship with Diet Coke. He famously tweeted in 2012: "I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke," then posted an Instagram photo of himself in 2016 with a McDonald's Big Mac, fries, and—of course—a Diet Coke.
One thing's for sure; of all our current-day stresses, at least we don't need to worry about Trump getting dehydrated.
