We Have 5 Questions About *This* Moment of Drake and Taylor Swift at His Birthday Party

The world has lost its collective chill over the rumors that there is a romance brewing between Taylor Swift and Drake. It all started after she popped up at his 30th birthday bash last month in Los Angeles. (Other notable guests reportedly included Jamie Foxx, French Montana, Shay Mitchell, Zoe Kravitz, Drake's dad, Dennis Graham, John Mayer, and Katy Perry. But none of them managed to get romantically linked to Drizzy.) The rumor picked up more steam after Taylor's BFF, Karlie Kloss, shared a photo of herself with the singer from his party that could kind of make it seem like she was implying something. Or, maybe we're reading into it and she just really liked that photo. After all, it is pretty fun.

That brings us to today, November 4. It's weeks after that party took place, and we're still talking about it because Drake just shared a photo from it, in which he's standing next to (yes, next to) Taylor. He captioned the moment, "Is that velvet?"

Now we have way more questions than answers. Here are the first five that popped into our head.

Or, is he just referring to the fabric of his blazer? Perhaps, both?

Because the angel wing one on her back is giving us all sorts of mixed feelings.

Maybe, just maybe, they're trolling all of us? But, also, maybe JUST maybe they found love in a hopeless place. Either way, we're happy for them.
