Emmys 2016 Trend Alert: Floral For Fall

Flowers dotted frocks—and mini tuxedo jackets—on the Emmys red carpet.

If the Emmys red carpet was any indication, flowers are no longer just for springtime. At the glitzy fall event, several stars skipped ahead a few seasons to wear flower-decked looks from Resort 2017 collections. And who could blame them for wanting to wear these garden-fresh looks right now? Here's a look at how the trendsetters styled the floral looks for a September occasion.

Constance Zimmer thanked Monique Lhuillier for getting her into hot pink. The Unreal star also wore a flower-shaped ring by Dana Rebecca Designs, and carried a candy-pink clutch.

Sarah Hyland also wore a floral-print look by Monique Lhuillier, but pulled off quite a different style.

Maura Tierney put a darker spin on the floral trend in an Old-Hollywood-inspired gown with black-petal details by Christian Siriano.

Stranger Things cutie Caleb McLaughlin (center) had metallic floral patterns on his custom Eaden Myles tux.

Downton Abbey's Laura Carmicheal looked quite the lady in pink-and-yellow Delpozo with hand-embroidered flowers.

Alia Shawkatt put a '90s-inspired stamp on the trend in a ruffled, ditzy-floral dress.

Kristen Bell's Zuhair Murad gown featured flowers embroidered onto champagne silk chiffon. Wondering how Kristen kept, er, everything in place? The actress copped to using plenty of tape.
