Friendly, Diverse, and Gorgeous, Thailand Has It All

Spend a day in the sun on a pristine island, or dine at a floating market.

Pristine beaches. Posh palaces. Locals smiling at tourists. Nope, we might not be in America anymore.

In our newest digital series Midday Getaway, we’re giving you virtual postcards of beautiful locations right when you need them most (i.e., when your afternoon at work feels like it will never end). Our premiere location today is beautiful Thailand.

If you were looking for a sign to travel there this year, this is most definitely it. Thailand is one of the most unique places and a joy for visitors, given the uniqueness of a culture that is at once friendly, laid-back, and diverse.

Check out the architecture of Bangkok’s Royal Palace, and try to get the most bang for your baht (that's Thailand’s currency) at a locals-only floating market. It’s also worth making a pit stop at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, where sustainable tourism is practiced to rehabilitate mistreated elephants.

Take a minute out of your day and get away to Thailand!
