My friend Matt Lee and his brother Ted, widely known as The Lee Bros, are not only award-winning food, cookbook and travel writers, but also terrific cooks and passionate advocates of Charleston’s fabled food culture. On top of all this, they also run a mail-order boiled peanut catalogue, and they'll ship the Southern treat around the world to anyone in-the-know who may have a hankering. While I was spending time in Charleston shooting Top Chef Season 14, it was only fitting that I looked to Matt to enlighten me on how to cook, eat and enjoy this regional specialty.
