Ah, to be the Clooneys, party of four.
New parents George and Amal have wasted no time getting their newborn twins acclimated to a fabulous European lifestyle — and in particular, introducing the wee ones to the many splendors of Italy that their parents have long enjoyed.
When Ella and Alexander were merely weeks old last month, they made their first public outing with their parents; appropriately for such privileged celebrity offspring, they were seen landing in Milan by way of a private plane.
And their summer is continuing in that dreamy, luxury style: According to People, the new parents and babies are enjoying “sun-kissed downtime at their villa on Lake Como and laughter-filled pasta dinners with friends.”
“The weather has been fantastic — sunny and warm every day,” according to a source cited in People. “George and Amal are enjoying the summer with their babies. Both seem very happy.”
George and Amal’s little citizens of the world were born in London on June 6, and their parents have wasted no time getting back in the game for glamorous date nights, including one last month at the Grill in the Villa d’Este Hotel in Cernobbio, Italy. They also dined at Gatto Nero, a Northern Italy locals’ favorite. (Those nights do end a bit earlier these days!)
Already, the babies seem primed to embrace the joyful, convivial — and luxurious — life in Italy, following in the tradition of their parents whose love of Lake Como is well known. The place is also favorite of family-minded stars like Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
And the family’s first experiences together so far dovetail with George’s promise to stick to safer travel destinations as a parent, in order to "avoid danger" and "be more responsible."
