Goop Helped Design Baby Shoes: Can You Guess How Much They Cost?

When no ordinary baby shoes will do, Goop and Christian Louboutin have you covered. The Gwyneth-Paltrow-helmed brand just partnered with the shoe mogul on a collection, which includes wee designs that are impossible to resist. Or, they would be, if they were just a smidge more affordable. 

Set to launch on Goop's website and in its pop-up shops next month, the little shoes come in a few different styles. For baby's first holiday party, there's a teeny gold pair of Mary Janes with a matching bow:

We're also cooing over the colorful satin styles. This pair in particular reminds us of something a mini Alice in Wonderland would wear:

And yes, the shoes have little red bottoms. But, the storybook-worthy slippers come with a fantastical price tag to match. Each pair of these teeny accesories rings in at — wait for it — $250.

Now, before you faint, know that these are meant to be investment pieces: "Goop’s fashion ethos has always centered on trendless quality," Paltrow said in a press release. "It was an honor to work with Christian and his team to design the quintessential collection of fall classics." 

Most parents might not be comfortable making the splurge, but there is a client for this kind of thing. For example, if it's true that Kim Kardashian West has a newborn on the way, what will the baby wear? After all, the little one will have to keep up with big sister North West, who's causally wearing Yeezy Boost sneakers at age four.
