Guess Which Celebrity Just Paid $395,000 For Jackie Kennedy's Watch?

In today's edition of celebrities are just like us, who among us doesn't admire Jackie Kennedy's classic style? Certainly not Kim Kardashian West, who reportedly parted with $395,000 to own an accessory that once belonged to the icon.

With a black band, Jackie's gold Cartier watch was auctioned off to an "anoynmous bidder" at Christie's in New York City last Wednesday. While the watch was expected to rake in some $120,000, the bidder in question uped the ante considerably. And, TMZ alleges that the bidder was the KKW Beauty mogul herself!

According to People, the watch was gifted to Jackie in 1963 by her brother-in-law, Prince Stanislaw Radziwill. So, we can certainly understand wanting to own that gleaming piece of history.

Jackie's elegant, understated style marks a departure from the fashion-forward pieces Kim typically gravitates toward. (We can't really imagine Jackie in clear Yeezy boots, for example—though Kim looks fire in them.) But, Kim has admittedly changed her approach to accesorizing—and lots of other things!—since her harrowing robbery in Paris. Jackie's watch is free of diamonds, and its relatively demure aesthetic fits more closely with the reality star's new style.

Kudos to Kim for nabbing the coveted piece. Now, if only we could get our hands on her instantly sold-out contour kit.
