It's been a grueling year for both the presidential candidates—and for their families. And in the midst of all that election drama, Ivanka Trump has had to endure allegations against her business, as well as against her dad.
According to Racked, the shoe mogul is facing backlash because some of her goods—created through a licensing agreement with Marc Fisher—were produced in a Chinese factory known as Xuankai Footwear Ltd. At the factory, which also produces shoes for labels such as Guess and DKNY, workers reported illegally low pay, grueling 16-hour days, and delayed payment.
However, Racked also conducted interviews with workers at some six factories that produce products for both Ivanka and her father. The employees interviewed there all reported satisfactory conditions. Ivanka Trump's publicity team did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
