Jennifer Lopez admits that the hardest job she has is working on being a functional family with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, but that she hasn't given up the dream of a happy marriage.
"When my marriage [to Anthony] ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness," J.Lo told W magazine for their May cover story. "It wasn't the dream that I had hoped for, and it would have been easier to fan the flames of resentment, disappointment and anger. But Marc is the father of my children, and that's never going away. So, I have to work to make things right. And that is, by far, the hardest work I do."
Jennifer and Marc married in 2004, after she split with Ben Affleck, and “Bennifer” had sadly come to an end. Prior to that, she had short marriages to Ojani Noa and dancer Cris Judd. She recently revealed she was proposed to even more times than she was married.
Now the American Idol judge is currently in a serious relationship with Casper Smart, and says she’s open to marriage yet again.
"We got together and broke up and are now together again," she said of Casper. "I still think about getting married and having that long life with someone. I love the movie 'The Notebook.' A dream of mine is to grow old with someone."
Jennifer is working harder than ever with a three-year residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and a starring role on the NBC cop drama Shades of Blue.
"I do have trouble saying no," she says of all her projects. "It's hard for me not to imagine doing everything I am asked to do."
