Lady Gaga Offers Fans a Delicious Apology After Cancelling Montreal Show

Pizza eases much suffering.

In the face of disappointment, who doesn't crave pizza as comfort? Lady Gaga gets it.

When she fell ill, she had to cancel a show in Montreal, Canada on Monday night. And she was as bummed out about it as her fans.

“I couldn’t be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight,” she wrote on Twitter.

The songstress blamed being sick on having performed a rainy outdoors NYC show date a few days earlier: “I sing this entire show live, and pride myself in giving it all, but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through. I am so sorry to anyone who had their heart set on seeing me tonight.”

Upset fans camped outside her hotel. But did she ignore their sad protests? Hardly. Instead, Gaga apologized by ordering pizzas for the crowd — and they were gratefully received.

By the way, Gaga did more than provide just the carbs: She signed autographs, too.

Hot, cheesy apologies really are the best kind.
