Okay, so technically it’s only been nine months since Lance Bass adopted two sweet brother pupnuggets from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Vanderpump’s sparkly pink dog rescue Vanderpump Dogs, but the way that they have grown up is making us feel like a meme.
The erstwhile *NSYNC-er and current Vanderpump Dogs AmBASSador originally took the puppers home simply to foster them. But as is wont to happen, Lance and his husband Michael Turchin ended up adopting the dogs permanently. And how could they not?! Look at these faces!
Here’s Chip and Dale then…
And here’s Chip and Dale now…
Time flies and we feel old! Luckily for Lance, the mutts appear to be some kind of Chihuahua-Yorkie (Chorkie!) blend, so they probably won’t get too much bigger, allowing us all to feel like time has stopped and therefore not constantly contemplate our own mortality.
Originally called Andy Garcia and Ducky, Lance decided to change their names to Chip and Dale because “they are the size of a chipmunk and they are sooo ornery! I love it!” Since the pups joined the family—including their other dog, Lily—Chip and Dale have made numerous appearances on Lance’s social media, with the ‘90s House star cooing over their sheer cuteness.
Then lo and behold, they got their own Instagram, @ChipAndDalePups, because of course they did.
Anyway, we highly recommend that you follow @LanceBass and @ChipAndDalePups to keep up on the family’s growth charts, and, of course, follow @VanderpumpDogs to see tons more puppies who are in need of loving forever homes. And as always, #AdoptDontShop!
