By all measures, Leslie Jones was having a pretty good stay in Los Angeles, having had a solid night as host of the BET Awards. But then something apparently went way off the rails, according to the Saturday Night Live star's Twitter feed.

On Monday, she shared with her nearly 700,000 followers that she was having the "worst stay" at her hotel, the luxurious Ritz-Carlton, located smack dab in the center of the entertainment and convention action downtown. "DO NOT STAY THERE!! THEY DONT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE!!" she wrote.

The heavy accusation swiftly got tons of attention, with thousands of total retweets, likes, and comments.

For its part, the hotel also paid attention, with a tweet from the company asking for more information and direction on how to make it right.

So what exactly happened in the hotel?

So far, we don't know. Leslie didn't comment further, and the Ritz only provided a pat version of its canned customer-service mantra when the Los Angeles Times asked for comment. The hotel's PR director Amy Campbell also declined The Times' request for comment, but did confirm that something happened at the L.A. property and was currently under investigation.
