This Pizza Topped with Lobster, Truffles, and Caviar Costs $500

Oh, and it's infused with tequila.

We're still getting over that $18 cup of coffee. And now this? Bodega Negra, a Mexican restaurant located in New York City's Dream Downtown hotel, is currently serving up a limited-edition $500 pizza. And no, that pie doesn't serve 50 of your closest friends.

Created in honor of International Margarita Day on February 22, the ultra-luxe "Margarita Margherita" pizza—which is intended to serve one, by the way—features layers of poached lobster, black truffles, Osetra caviar, and edible platinum flakes on a tortilla. Tomatoes, picked onions, fresh mango, and avocados lighten things up, all pulled together with a crema that's been infused with Gran Patrón Platinum. Gran Patrón Burdeos is used as a glaze for the lobster and the mango, as well. Those bottles of tequila cost $200 and $500, respectively.

The pizza was inspired by a signature Patrón margarita and will be available at Bodega Negra through February 22. And according to a Patrón PR rep, yes, there have already been orders for the pie. Though we're guessing those diners needed a few tequila shots when the bill arrived.

This isn't the first time we've seen a pizza this pricey. Earlier this year, a Florida restaurant created a "Trump Pizza" for Inauguration Day. It was topped with Italian cheese, Russian caviar, and American gold flakes and came with a bottle of French Champagne. 

And a few years ago, a New York restaurant cooked up a $1000 pie topped with six types of caviar and lobster, just for fun. Because if you can get your hands on all that caviar, you might as well toss it on a pizza, right?
