Meet the Real Shelter Dogs of Texas — Season 2 (And Ready to Join Your Family)!

You don’t need a dog psychic to tell you that these dogs want you to adopt them!

By Stacy Lenz

Ahh, Texas — what was once known as the home of big hair and Dr. Pepper is now known for pink dog food and dog psychics, well at least if you’re a fan of The Real Housewives of Dallas it is (and of course you are, you’re not stupid.) This franchise is so dog-centric that now when we think of Texas we naturally associate it with dogs, which is perfect because that is where today’s Real Shelter Dogs hail from!

The dogs of Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue you are about to meet come from deep in the heart of Texas, Waco specifically. The rescue is an animal welfare organization that cares for homeless and unwanted animals in a life-care environment. They have a true passion for animals, and surprisingly, reading. In the past, the rescue has a special Reading Education Assistance Dog, which is just what it sounds like — terribly cute (and a dog that goes into schools for children to read to).

And now, grab some SparkleDog food and meet your Real Shelter Dogs, complete with opening-credits worthy taglines!
