Introducing the Real Shelter Dogs of New Jersey!

You’ll flip a table when you see how cute these pups are.

By Stacy Lenz

In our very first installment of The Real Shelter Dogs, we're heading to that mecca of big hair and big personalities—New Jersey!

See Spot Rescued is a volunteer organization that focuses on saving dogs in need—particularly those from kill shelters in the South—and we love their selfless dedication to finding forever homes for all their furry clients. These doggie matchmakers have an excellent track record too, matching Bravo's own Andy Cohen with his doggie bestie, Wacha!

And now meet this franchise's Real Shelter Dogs, complete with opening credits-worthy taglines. (If you are interested in adopting any of these wonderful dogs, please email

"I'm an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, and tennis balls." - Faithe Herman

Faithe has some of the most beautiful eyes we've ever seen on a dog. She plays nice with other puppers—and she loves a good game of fetch.

"I would never steal food off your table, but adopt me and we’ll be thick as thieves." - Willow Rosenberg

Willow is one happy, goofy girl. She's 6–8 months old, she wants to be friends with everyone she sees, and she is already crate-trained.

"I’m not about the drama, but I am 100% about the peanut butter. Holla!" - Amber Tamblyn

Amber is a 3-year-old, 46-pound pooch who will do pretty much anything for a Kong with peanut butter inside! She's housebroken and knows both "sit" and "down."

"I know a lot of tricks, but that doesn’t mean I play tricks." - Barnabas

Barnabas is a 3.5-year-old dog who loves life! Not only is he housebroken, he knows tons of tricks including sit, down, jump, stay, and shake—and he's even able to balance a treat on his snout!

"Puppers are gonna pup, but I just love, love, love." - Justin Hartley

Justin is a 4–5–month–old pup who was rescued with his sister. He's a great size and loves nothing more then to be held in a good cuddle.

"Don’t judge me by my short stature—I bring BIG excitement." - Mandy Moore

Mandy's tail is always wagging! This low-rider is a 1-year-old who gets along great with other dogs.
