Using a microwave just to heat or cook your food is such a waste of space. Did you know you can also use your microwave as a home-office tool? Thanks to an ingenious new product that's about to hit the market, you'll be able to do exactly that. With the Rocketbook Wave—nearing the end of its wildly successful Kickstarter campaign—you can hand-write notes using the special "FriXion" pen that comes with the notebook; then the cloud-connected notebook magically digitizes your hand-scrawled notes using a smartphone app. Once you've sent your notes to the cloud, you just stick your Rocketbook in the microwave to erase everything and start fresh (the ink in the special pen turns clear when heated up to 140°).
Rocketbook's Kickstarter campaign has more than three weeks left but has already earned more than $373,000 in pledges, vastly exceeding the company's $20,000 goal. There's still time to donate so you can get one of your own, starting at $27 each ($1,050 for a 50-pack). Here's hoping that the next iteration of this product comes with a snack you can pop in the microwave right along with it.
