Are Tom Sandoval and Kristen Doute Back Together?

After she cheated and slept with her best friend's ex-boyfriend—who was also her boyfriend's best friend—Kristen Doute and Tom Sandoval seemed as if they'd never, ever get back together. The rockiest couple on Vanderpump Rules started dating other people since they split up, but now rumors are starting to swirl that the two may have hooked up since their break-up.

But according to Tom, they're just that: rumors.

In a recent interview with Life & Style, Tom squashed reports that he and Kristen dating again—at least right now. When the two were in New York to shoot Watch What Happens Live, they grabbed a drink after filming their episode. Tom's version of the story is that Kristen was interested in rekindling their romance. "Kristen tried to hook up with me and I said no," he says.

Wait, huh? Kristen, in her own interview with In Touch, says the kiss actually happened and that Tom came clean to his new girlfriend, Ariana Madix, afterwards. “Tom and I made out when we were in NYC [in mid-January],” she says. “He was honest and told Ariana.” Tom's response to that? "Kristen does lie a lot."

It's unclear whether the two will ever reconcile, but one thing is for sure: they're both moving on with their lives. In fact, expect old wounds to be reopened again when Kristen Doute publishes her first memoir, details of which she revealed this month. Titled Smeared Eyeliner and Broken Bank Accounts: a Surreal Life, Kristen says the book "is a little bit about my life on the show, living in L.A. over the last six years, and what it's like to be a transplant from the midwest. It's also about being in a relationship with [Tom Sandoval] for six years. And all that chaos."
