Last night's explosive finale of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles ended with a bang—well, a slap actually. Josh Flagg whacked Josh Altman across the cheek after Altman broached the subject of Flagg's grandmother Edith.
Flagg still appeared icy towards Altman and stood by his statement that Edith should not have been discussed. And Altman actually agreed. "I actually....I said something nice about her," says Altman, before adding, "I shouldn't have brought it up."
The tension dissolved during the show and they blew off even more steam once Andy handed them three giant, foam fingers and told them it was game time.
The rules of "The Slap-Praisal" were simple: guess the price for the house Andy picked—including celebrity homes previously or currently owned by Marilyn Monroe, Bruce Willis and Matt Damon—and the winner gets to slap whichever agent they want with their foam finger. Madison Hildebrand decked Josh Altman and Josh Flagg first, coming the closest to the first house's listing price with his guess; Josh Altman and Josh Flagg then won the next rounds, with Flagg letting his fist (or finger!) fly pretty hard once more.
Hopefully the boys won't be bringing those foam fingers to a showing anytime soon!
Well, I haveta take some of that back because I just watched the after show and that seemed much more in tune with what we see as viewers than the first part of the aired WWHL....but that realness was between Madison and Altman. The Flagg/Altman thing still does seem scripted. Either make up and show it or don't and show it, but whichever way it goes, I hope it goes back to being "real" as this is a "Reality" show afterall. And I agree with Madison, Altman is unethical and doesn't own his behavior, he makes "excuses" for it and/or tries to spin it to justify it. He isn't a good seed. I wouldn't do a deal with him unless I absolutely had to. He's established himself as a liar.
Once my favorite, the whole show seems to be scripted now. And I record WWHL every night, rarely see it live and didn't see this episode until later. The mothers being besties now? and the 3 of them were here in NY at the NYSE not long ago photographed again, as if they were best friends. Clearly this isn't what we see on the show, so it seems like the show is becoming more and more "acted." Disappointing
nothing josh altman does seems natural, at least on camera. every word he speaks sounds rehearsed, like he wrote it the night before and practiced in front of a mirror to get it just right. he's trying too hard to be the man he thinks he is.
I like Josh Flagg but he needs to get over the Elan thing. In any other business, it's simple -- someone calls you and you don't answer, they call someone else. Also, in the clip, Elan clearly states he called Josh TWICE, and Josh keep saying he missed the "call." I believe Elan.
Josh Altman, just saw you on Watch what happens Live, I think I really like you now..lol you sound like a different person. Love it !! Congratulations on your engagement.. You to are perfect together. I think Heather opened your eyes to a new world. Love does that to people... Best of luck to you both...
I think you got bitch slapped! LOL I like both josh's and can see both sides. Flagg felt as though he stole his client. It could have been worse if Altman were to strike back. So glad it didn't escalate to that point!
Love you and Edith. Edith's attitude makes her my favorite Senior Classy Lady. I wish you her years and wisdom.
You made the Season for me with the Altman slap! I wanted to see that all year.
Josh, I think your wonderful. Flagg was wrong to slap you and to steal your client. Madison is just wrong about Heather and he treats her badly for no good reason. Madison is awful in the way he talks about you. Josh you are the most honest and up front person. Congratulations on your engagement.
I love both Josh Flagg and Altman. I am sorry to see Josh Flagg strike someone. Not good, regardless. Josh Altman really surprised me; he was a gentleman about the slap; anyone else would have clocked Josh Flagg. Additionally, I was happy to see Josh F defend Josh A to that idiot Madison regarding Marisa. Josh F knows right from wrong in the business of real estate. I do not think either one of them erred in the transactions with the client of Josh F's. Josh F would have called the client back, but he didn't for whatever the reason - fair game all the way around.
i love josh altman. i do not get the disaproval. also like flagg. his humor is amusing.
malibu barbie, is so annoying with the whining. he is a jealous, needy girl.
If you watched the show you would know Flagg ask the client if he wanted Altman in the deal and he said No. Also, were you watching 3 years ago when Heather went behind Madison's back?
Madison told heather that she could list houses in Beverly Hills it was when Heather agreed to a colisting with Altman that Madison got angry because since she was working under him he at that point also became a colister with Altman and he did not like Altman and did not wasnt to colist a property with him.
