The RHOC star slams her now-ex-boyfriend for putting the condiment on chicken.

on Jul 23, 2013 - The Dish0

What caused Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers to break up?

Was it over his preference for what condiments he put on his food? Probably not.

But in this exclusive clip, the Real Housewives of Orange County star has a spat with her now-ex-boyfriend at dinner. He wants to put ketchup on his fried chicken—but Vicki adamantly opposes his culinary choice.

Watch the clip below and vote in our poll: is it insane to put ketchup on fried chicken?

I am completely befuddled! Honestly, with all the OBVIOUS flaws with this slimy snake you are insulted his culinary choices?  Vicki, it is time you hear the truth...get a therapist woman!  I have lost count of the all items on your laundry list of issues.  But one I believe that should be addressed post hast is your insecurities which seem to affect everyone and everything in your life.  Maybe Dr. V can come visit you too.

Who cares how he eats his fried chicken, if you truly cared for him it wouldn't make that much difference. My daughter-in-law puts ketchup on her tacos.  Gross, but that's the way she likes them no big deal.  You certainly have to be in control. .  If I were your daughter I would take my baby and RUN!

Oh Vickie I'm not a huge fan of Brooks but then again we don't really know him ... we only know what we hear of him.  P.S.  you do put Ketchup on Chicken in fact you put Ketchup on anything you want  YUM..                                              Home Made Chicken and Ketchup

One last thing,  Fix your hair,  you need to fire the person who does it,  and if you don't have someone doing it,  maybe you should hire someone since you have all this money.

I can't stand  watching you droll over Brooks.  You tell your daughter that you need a man in your life,  are you so desperate that you can't see that this guy is not being honest with you....You need counseling in this area,  major counseling.... Plus Counseling in other areas would do you good.

Oh and by the way,  I like Ketchup on my chicken.  You have the gull to say something about the way he eats,  yet you can't stand up to him regarding his dating habit's.  Your so weird and so controlling.

You try to control all the ladies,  you can with a couple of them, Tamra especially.  But with Brooks you can't and that's the best part of watching you droll over him.  I think that man is the worst thing and he's a liar and isn't honest with you,  yet you believe him over others telling you things about him.  So why don't you call him Stupid or tell him to shut up,  those are your favorite words aren't they?  You use the words so easily  when you talk about Gretchen or Laurie,  Oh I get it, it's because they won't let you control them or their situation only Tamra is good for that.

Grow up or maybe it's time for you to just leave the show,  I'm so over your negativity,  and you thinking that you are the only person who is right,  and now causing problems between Gretchen and Tamra.  And your voice when your yelling,  just done,  done with you.....

Why does she care what he puts on his chicken. Quite honestly he had the right to put peanut butter on it if he wanted.  It was HIS chicken.  She's so controlling.

Vicki, I give you props for consistently staying the same.  You own your actions.  Don't let anyone make you feel bad about yourself (like Slade).  My advice is to lead by example and maybe others will stop being mean behind your back.  Think twice about Tamra...she talks way worse about you than you do about her.  Support others and don't talk crap about them...and that is what will make them stay loyal to you!

she can be assertive over ketchup, but she is so pathetic otherwise with him?  Are you seeing anyone, are ya are ya?? and then when he says he hasn't kissed them, she believes whatever he says...she is sooooo stupid.  I cant wait until the "self described "big tipper throwing around hundreds to 18 year old girls that can't pay child support or fix his own teeth takes her for everything she owns

Boils down to...he wanted ketchup. None of her business. You are right about her treating Donn The same way. If it's not Vicki's way, it's the highway. Dumb thing to fight over. Better she should put a private investigator on Brooks and find out what he does. He's not trustworthy and she is Delusional.

"At the end of the day" as you say all the time, you really are a hypocrite. Isn't it "ironic" that you can't see that?

Ok.  So I just watched the "fried chicken with ketchup" clip. I love ketchup on fried chicken. Absolutely. And for her to get so freaked out about how he's eating his food, was really weird and very rude. I can understand where, if you went to someone's home and they made fried chicken and you put ketchup on it, that it might seem like you are trying to cover-up bad-tasting food. So, I might not do it at someone's home. But if I'm in a restaurant or get take-out, I might want to put ketchup on it. It doesn't mean the chicken tastes bad.  It's an enhancement. But to tell a grown person how they should be eating (as long as they're not being nasty) is just way out of bounds.

Not fan of Brooks but Vicki should back off! None of her business. If she is so controlling over ketchup on chicken she must be hell on wheels about important things. Think it a good thi g they are together on soooo many levels. This is not THE one for Vicki. If she does't ratchet back the controlling thing she may be alone.

I'm amazed at the folks who haven't heard of eating ketchup on chicken.  Ever heard of chicken fingers or chicken nuggets?  Folks must have never been to fast food where ketchup is the standard condiment for any sort of chicken.  I do agree that like a good steak that doesn't need steak sauce, good fried chicken doesn't need ketchup, but to each their own.  Ketchup is definitely a chicken food condiment.  Some folks eat ketchup on everything.... eggs, grilled cheese and just about anything fried.  While I slightly hope Brooks chokes on his fried chicken, I still think Vicki is an overbearing control freak.

I wish she'd be so assertive when it comes to her daughter telling her who she can and cannot date. I like the fact that Brooks does whatever he wants, lol.

Boss lady is starting to talk to loverboy the same way she used to talk to Donn.  His reaction is the same as Donn's used to be also; total disgust at her and her controlling ways.

I worked in a restaurant where the chef could see into the dining room. We had to hold him back when a guy doused his beautifully prepared steak in ketchup! Vicki, YOU ROCK!

SujoNY

I could go either way on this... Personally I think fried chicken should be good enough without condiments. However, if that's they way he likes it, then that's the way he likes it. I like hot sauce or sometimes ketchup on my eggs. Some people douse things in mayonnaise.  It's just soooo funny how Vicki got so mad at him to the point that she growls, thought it was rude and didn't follow the rules of etiquette. Pretty sure if you go to a really really really nice restaurant, they're probably not gonna serve fried chicken. So she shouldn't have to worry on that one, lol.

 @la12ce

I think that part of the reason he did the ketchup was because he knew it would irritate her.  But she needs to let go a little.
