These Couples Lit Up the Met Ball Red Carpet Together

These duos looked better together at the annual gala.

Monday night’s Met Ball was all about the clothes—and the couples.

Officially known as the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Benefit, the gala brought out a dazzling display of fashion to raise money for the Costume Institute at the museum and kick off their annual show.

The there this year was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour hosted, of course, along with Apple design chief Jonathan Ive, Idris Elba, and Taylor Swift. A single ticket cost $30,000, and last year, more than $12.5 million was raised.

Here are some of the best couples from the night.

Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik

The supermodel and the singer, who appear in the May issue of Vogue together, made their red carpet debut at the Met Ball, and seemed to have coordinated their look. Gigi wore a custom metallic Tommy Hilfiger gown while Zayn wore a Versace suit with a very noticeable accessory—robot arms.

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West

Remember when Kim wore a couch? Not this time. She was a bit more chic in a Balmain dress with a Lorraine Schwartz ear cuff, while her husband wore a crystal jacket and $895 Fear of God jeans. He also looked kind of like a vampire with those blue contacts.

Zoe Saldana & Marco Perego Saldana

The actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown with a long train, along with a D&G clutch and jewels. But her best accessory was her handsome husband.

Bella Hadid & The Weeknd

The duo went with Givenchy, with Bella looking stunning in her strapless gown.

Rose Bryne & Bobby Cannavale

The new parents left newborn son Rocco home for a night out. Rose looked beautiful in a a custom-made metallic gown by Ralph Lauren,  while Bobby Cannavale wore a Purple Label navy tuxedo.

Kris Jenner & Corey Gamble

Kris wore an elegant black Balmain gown, with a choker, while Corey wore a military style black jacket, topped with a gold chain.

The show at the Met is set to open May 5.
