Guess Which Top Chef Winner Was Just Spotted Cooking in Oprah Winfrey's Kitchen?
Oprah hosted a Moroccan feast in her home.

When you're Oprah Winfrey, you're used to having the best of the best. So when you're hosting a big party to kick off the second season of your show, Queen Sugar, who do you call to help cater the event? A Top Chef winner, of course.
Oprah recently posted a video on her Instagram feed showing the controlled chaos in her kitchen as chefs prepped for her Queen Sugar party earlier this week. And who should pop up in the video? Top Chef Season 12 winner Mei Lin, looking right at home in Oprah's expansive kitchen.
Mei was cooking alongside Oprah's personal chef, Sonny Sweetman. The two were whipping up a Moroccan feast with roasted chicken, beef cheeks with harissa, and a shrimp dish.
"What do you have over there, Mei?" Oprah asked as she zoomed in on Mei.
"Well I have the chicken base, which is a turmeric base," she explained, shaking the pan filled with a luscious-looking sauce.
This isn't the first time Mei has cooked for Oprah, however. Over the past year, she's occasionally served as her personal chef, cooking big meals for her family and friends. Mei even contributed a couple of recipes to Oprah's first cookbook, called Food, Health and Happiness, which was released in January 2017.
Looks like Mei and Oprah have a long and delicious future together.
