A decorated Olympic athlete with one of the most powerful, elitely trained bodies in the entire world says she was subject to body shaming by TSA agents when making her way through the airport recently. And, as one does, she tweeted about the entire experience.
U.S. gymnast Aly Raisman was traveling from Turks and Caicos...
...when she claims a TSA agent at the airport made disparaging remarks about her muscular physique. After a woman agent claimed she recognized the athlete by her biceps, a male agent claimed he didn't notice them — all while sizing her up and staring. How rude and uncomfortable," she wrote.
Needless to say, she didn't appreciate the unwanted judgement.
She was not having it — and called the whole move "sexist."
So not OK.
Fortunately, the sour experience didn't spoil the whole trip for the athlete, who was celebrating her 23rd birthday.
