7 Skincare Tips to Prep Your Skin For Summer

If you've ever found yourself wondering: Does a magical face mask that looks like a sunset exist? Well, you're ahead of your time. We just caught wind of Tatcha's Violet-C Radiance Mask, which launches on July 1. There are a few reasons we're pre-obsessed with this product, including Tatcha's track record.

Let's review: When the brand launched its oil-free water cream back in April, we joined beauty lovers in fan-girling hardcore. That cream is ultra hydrating, and infused with dreamy ingredients like wild rose, leopard lily, and even a dash of 23-karat gold. We've been using it like gangbusters to keep our skin smooth in the summer sun—but we may have a new product crush on July 1.

The Violet-C Radiance Mask piqued our interest right out of the gate, when we saw its metallic-sunset-like packaging. But, what's inside is pretty gorgeous, too.

Inspired by the beauty rituals of geishas, who made rinse-off "face packs" filled with fruits and botanicals, the product contains gentle AHA acids from seven fruits. That means it turns over dull skin cells instantly, but also improves radiance over time.

The violet-hued potion is also filled with two types of vitamin C. And, it contains Japanese Beautyberry, which A) sounds magical, and B) is packed with antioxidants. So, it's basically like a unicorn-spun smoothie for your face. The mask will be available at Sephora.com and Tatcha.com for $68.
