Watch Beyonce's Style Evolve From Year To Year

We're still reeling over the looks from the Grammy Awards, with our emotions swinging from delighted to utterly confused. (CeeLo. CEELO!) But, one thing we know for sure: Prince style was trending, and two of the show's most prominent guests went to great lengths to channel the Purple One.

Who wore it best is always a weighty question, but this Prince-theme round is going to be particularly tough. How can we say whether Blue Ivy or Bruno Mars did better service to the legend? Let's go crazy reviewing their outfits.

First up, we have Blue. The first daughter of the Grammys had us squealing with her miniature, bubble-gum-pink suit and ruffled blouse. Ruffles are essential to a Prince-tribute look, but Blue took the game up a notch. By accessorizing with a twinkling, cat-shaped clutch, Blue put her own spin on the derivative look.

Our next contestant: Bruno Mars. The singer paid tribute to Prince in the most appropriate way: by wearing as much purple as possible.

In a glittering jacket with matching tuxedo-stripe pants, Bruno even had Prince's sassy smile down pat. He's missing the kitty clutch, but we're going to give him props for that very Prince-like guitar.

Indeed, this is a tough one. But, Blue wins. Sorry, Bruno: you just can't beat a five-year-old girl boss in a pink tux.
