Richard Marx, the heartthrob you likely remember from the 1989 ballad "Right Here Waiting," is trending right now — and not for any reason relating to his music.
He was actually on a plane with his wife Daisy Fuentes — and there's another fun fact for you right there — when a passenger went ballistic on their flight from Vietnam to South Korea. Daisy captured the whole thing on video as Richard and the Korean Air flight attendants joined forces to try to take down the out-of-control passenger. Richard threw punches and held the restraint rope — it was quite an ordeal, and it lasted for four hours.
On social media, Daisy accused the flight crew of being unprepared for unruly passengers, and didn't know how to use the taser nor the rope they carried for restraint.
"This went on for FOUR hrs. I feel horrible for the abuse the staff had to endure but no one was prepared for this. They never fully got control of him," she wrote on Instagram.
Richard also shared details — and complaints — on social media.
Fortunately the pair escaped what could have ended much worse. And now, since this will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day anyway:
