In March, Donald Trump thanked four of his five children in a speech, mysteriously leaving out his 22-year-old daughter Tiffany, who he had with ex-wife Marla Maples.
He apologized for it hours later on Twitter, writing, “I only wish my wonderful daughter Tiffany could have been with us at Mar-a-Lago for our great election victory. She is a winner!”
Tiffany is the one daughter who hasn’t been visible on the campaign trail with her father, although she was spotted at one GOP debate. Tiffany is attending the Republican National Convention taking place in Cleveland over the next few days.
Tiffany recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in May 15, and Donald, Ivanka Trump, stepmother Melania Trump and half-brother Barron Trump, 10, all came to the ceremony.
“Graduation! Congrats to the class of 2016! #upenn,” she captioned a collage of her family. “Thanks to all of my family and friends who came to support me and Penn 2016!”
Tiffany grew separate from her sister Ivanka, and her brothers, Eric and Donald Jr., and was raised in California. Her mom Marla and Donald had a scandalous affair while Donald was still married to his first wife, Ivana Trump.
Marla, who once said Donald was the best sex she’d ever had, married him in 1993 and divorced in 1999. Tiffany is closer to her mom than her dad, telling Oprah in 2011 that her and her mom cook and play tennis together.
“My mom and I have always been very close,” Tiffany, then 17, said at the time. “Everyone is always, like, 'You really have a good relationship.' She's with me a lot of the time.”
