Let’s tally up Dubai’s offerings for the young — and the young at heart. There’s already an indoor ski resort, an underwater zoo, and various options for water parks and activities.
And now, thanks to an architectural model revealed earlier this week, we know a lot more about a seriously over-the-top new attraction coming to town that's sure to please kids of all ages.
Dubai Parks and Resorts showed off its model for a nearly $3 billion theme park scheduled for completion in October.
The project is slated to become the Middle East’s biggest leisure and entertainment destination of its kind; it will actually be made up of three separate theme parks and a water park. So that should keep you busy for a while.
Attractions will include a Legoland theme park, a section devoted to Bollywood-inspired amusements, a Polynesian-themed resort, and Riverland Dubai, a central retail, dining, and entertainment district connecting all three theme parks and the hotel.
If theme parks float your travel boat, this massive new attraction may even be enough to justify taking the longest flight in the world to get to Dubai and check it out.
