What Did Kim Zolciak-Biermann *Really* Think of Montana?
The #DontBeTardy mom weighs in on Kroy Biermann's home state.
Last season on Don't Be Tardy, Kim Zolciak-Biermann treated fans to a trip to her childhood home in Connecticut. And this season, we're getting to know a little more about her small town husband, Kroy Biermann. Kim and the Biermann family headed to Montana to learn more about the place the NFL pro spent his childhood in Hardin, Montana. And there was a special reason why the mom left all her comforts of Atlanta behind for the quiet of the West.
"Going to Montana was really exciting for me," Kim told us, noting that she wanted to learn more about Kroy's life by taking the trip to his home state. Why? "Because he's like a jack of all trades. He can fix a toilet. He can fix electrical stuff. He's an amazing dad, an amazing husband. I get how he can do everything because there's nobody there to do anything. I miss Starbucks terribly and I just can't wrap my mind around driving 45 miles to get groceries and driving on the highway and you're the only car. In Atlanta, you're among a million people and you're not even moving, ever."
While it was clear that Kroy enjoyed the trip down memory lane, Kim also wanted her kids to experience a culture that's completely different — and colder — from their lives in the ATL. "I was more excited for the boys to see snow and sledding. I grew up with that and they, actually, I realize haven't," Kim shared. "It was very beautiful and I don't know what my vision was, but it definitely wasn't [what we saw]. Kroy doesn't have a house where Oprah has her house, so it was definitely different."
